Ableton Live Course
Our Ableton course are held weekday evenings on Camden Street. Our goal is to build students confidence while guiding them through certain exercises in how to produce music. From House, Techno, Garage, Dancehall, Breaks and Drum and Bass, we cover a wide range of different genres. Students will learn all about the crucial parts of Ableton Live. From programming drums with the drum rack, beginner music theory, layering melodies with chords, understanding subtractive synths, sampling, how to use virtual instruments, recording audio into Ableton, automation, arrangement, dynamics and effects.
Assignments and notes are given out each week on the course.
Students will complete 6 tracks fully arranged over the course of 4 weeks.
What you need to bring
Student are required to bring their laptop, charger, headphones and a working copy of Ableton Live. We provide every student with a midi keyboard and controller for the duration of the course. Duration - 2 hours once a week for 4 weeks straight (Weekday evenings)
Time - 7pm to 9pm
Cost - 300 Euro per person
Deposit - 50 Euro to secure a place
Students - 4 per class
